• DESCRIPTION

For the most demanding winter conditions that send most cyclists into retreat mode—or back to the rollers—the Ultraz Jacket is ready to get on with it outside, right where you belong. At the wind-facing front panel, we used our NEOS Ultra textile—a lightweight 2L softshell with PU bonded membrane that’s water-resistant and 100% windproof—to ensure this element-facing section of your upper body remains fully protected from snow, rain, road spray, biting winds, and low temperatures. We then turned up the heat by mating this Ultra membrane with our highly insulating, breathable brushed RX, ensuring your core remains dry and warm. NEOS Light was added to the tops of the arms and shoulders, with a light brushed treatment on the interior for added protection and comfort.

By strategically applying two types of NEOS membranes to the Ultraz, we’ve ensured you get the right amount of protection where you need it, while simultaneously maintaining breathability and increasing weight-savings throughout. The position our bodies take on the bike—combined with the intended riding conditions—inform these material selections, which is why you’ll notice breathable paneling on the undersides of the arms and back. It’s all done with intent, knowing that deep-winter riding calls for absolute attention to detail in how your apparel fits and functions.

Why layer up with multiple items when this tech-savvy ultra winter jacket can satisfy the task? Begin any ride with the apposite winter skinFoil baselayer and a pair of ASSOS winter bib tights. Round off your winter riding equipment with heavy-duty gloves and overshoes.

As a winter jacket, this is able to outperform purely cycling and is suited for use in a host of other high-octane winter sports, like XC-skiing, running or mountaineering.

RX: Applied in several weights throughout the jacket, this brushed warp-knit fabric has been developed to provide exceptional comfort, wick moisture, add high levels of insulation, and remain extremely flexible.

Integrated Face Mask: Stowable neck and face protection for the most extreme winter riding conditions.

Stabilizer S7: Dorsal stabilizer in a solid mesh with limited vertical stretch to stabilize pockets.


Triple Ramp Pockets: Flexible fabric panels sewn into each of the three pockets create "lids" for your cargo, covering the contents for added security and stability.

Full-Length Zipper: Temperature regulation courtesy of a lightweight full-length zipper with camlock.

Raglan Cut: Sleeve design free of a traditional shoulder seam, continuing up to the neck for greater range of motion.
